Motorola Moto X Play with a huge battery announced


Motorola also announced the Moto X Play along with the Moto X Style. It is a less premium variant and features metallic accents and water repellant coating.
 

Motorola Moto X Play features 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 ( 4 x 1.1 GHz Cortex A53 + 4 x 1.7 GHz Cortex A53) 64-bit processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB or 32GB internal storage, expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Camerawise, it sports 21-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and 1080p video recording capabilities. On the front there is a 5-megapixel shooter for taking selfies. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1. It is fueled by 3630mAh battery that promises up to 48 hours of battery life with mixed usage. 

It also comes with TurboPower 25 Charger that will quick charge the device within minutes. It has Moto Voice, Moto Display, Moto Assist and Moto Actions. It comes in White and Black flavors and supports replaceable flip shells and Moto maker customization.
 

The Moto X Play will be available in 55 countries across Europe, Latin America and Canada starting August this year.
