Xiaomi Mi Headphones and New Mi In-ear Headphones launched in India


As part of its one-year aniversary celebrations in India, Xiaomi introduced its Mi Headphone and MI In-ear headphone in the country along with the 32GB variant of Mi 4i.

The Mi Headphone, is a semi-open headphone with 50mm beryllium diaphragm speakers and interchangeable over-ear and on-ear covers. It features a low 32-ohm impedance, and a silver-plated straight cable. It offers a unique semi-open acoustic experience which present a natural sound quality. The Mi headphone is expected to perform better than the headphones which costs double. The headphones also get a silver-plated cable on the inside and braided Kevlar on the outside.

The Mi in-ear headphones comes with a patented sound optimisation technology and also have a microphone built-in. Xiaomi is comparing it to the Sennheiser CX985 in-ear headphones which cost about Rs 12,000.

The Mi Headphones are priced at Rs. 5,499 and the new Mi In-Ear Headphones are priced at Rs. 999. Both of them will go on sale Thursday, July 23 starting 10am IST via Mi.com
