HMD Global has announced two new Nokia-branded audio accessories dubbed Nokia Active Wireless Earphones and Nokia Active Wired Earphones. As the name suggests, the former is wireless earphones and connects to your devices via Bluetooth, while the latter is wired, and have to be plugged to the 3.5mm headphone jack of the device.
HMD Global says, the earphones are designed for ‘the athletic lifestyle’, and are ultra light-weight and made of premium metal.
Both earphones sports a specially-developed ergonomic eartips and magnetic clips that comes in three different sizes for a comfortable and secure fitting. The earphones offers fine-tuned, high quality sound with solid bass tones for an empowering workout experience. They have in-line remote, that lets you answer calls and control music.
The Nokia Active Wireless Earphones is water, sweat and dustproof and packs 90mAh battery and is rated to deliver up to eight hours of talk time or music playback, and up to 144 hours of standby time. It charges via USB cable (USB A to microUSB) and takes 1.5hrs to fully charge. It supports devices featuring Bluetooth 4.1 and up.
The Nokia Active Wired Earphones is splash and sweat resistant, and include highly reflective cable for increased visibility.

Logitech has launched a new Slim Folio Keyboard case for Apple's latest 9.7-inch iPad, which was launched back in March.
The new Slim Folio Keyboard case for the 9.7-inch iPad has two replaceable coin batteries (found on wristwatches), instead of the usual rechargeable lithium-ion cells, and promises battery life of up to 4 years, if you type for two hours per day. It has Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity to connect with the iPad.
Like Logitech's other keyboard cases, the new keyboard is also slim, lightweight and easy to carry around, and can protect iPad from scratches, bumps and spills. It measures 182mm (7.20-inches) x 249mm (9.80-inches) x 20mm (.80 inches) and weighs 700g.

Popular gaming accessories and laptop maker Razer has announced a new Power Bank to charge devices especially laptops on the go.
The Razer Power Bank has a capacity of 12800mAh, 46WH battery with support for Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0. Razer says the power bank is optimized to work with Razer's 12.5-inch Blade Stealth laptop, and offers an additional six hours of run time, taking the combined runtime up to 15 hours.
Apart from Blade Stealth laptop, the power bank is also works with USB-C compatible laptops like Dell XPS 13 or Asus Zenbook or Apple MacBook as well as smartphones, e-readers and tablets.
The power bank weighs just 355g and small enough to fit in most pockets. It can charge three devices at the same time, and features USB Type-C input and output port, microUSB input port, dual USB Standard-A output ports, LED status indicator and power button.

External HDDs comes in storage capacities with 500GB, 1TB, 2TB and 4TB but Seagate has launched a portable hard drive that comes with massive 5TB storage.
Dubbed Backup Plus Portable 5TB drive, Seagate calls it the world’s largest capacity portable external storage drive. The new storage solution was made possible thanks to the new BarraCuda internal drive featuring 2.5-inch 1TB platter technology, announced last month.
The 5TB drive offers data transfer speeds of up to 120MB/s and can store up to 600 hours of HD video. It supports both macOS (with an NTFS driver) and Windows with USB 3.0 connectivity. It is encased in a 20.5mm-thick aluminum case.
The Seagate Backup Plus 5TB drive is priced at an MSRP of $189.99 (Rs. 12,870) and will be available later this month in black, silver, red and blue colors.

Delhi based UIMI Technologies popular for their power banks have launched its first 'Made in India' solar chargeable power bank in India dubbed UIMI U3 with 6000mAh battery capacity.
Apart from solar charging which is the main USP, the power bank also supports regular charging as well via AC power sockets. The UIMI U3 comes with a single input port and dual output USB ports for charging two devices simultaneously. It is water and dust proof and has rubber finish for better durability making it ideal for heavy duty use. It also sports indicative lights to display charging and battery status.
The power bank promises conversion rate of up to 74 percent and takes about six to eight hours to charge fully. It also doubles a LED torch light thanks to the the 2.4W LED panel light.

Germany based manufacturer Blaupunkt has entered India's mobile handset accessories segment with its range of products including earphones, USB cables and car chargers.
Starting with the earphones, the brand launched nine earphone including wired earphones and headphones, Bluetooth earphones, wired headphones in the country. They are priced between Rs. 299 and Rs. 599. All the earphones come with in-line mics, and some of them offer tangle free cable, flat cable design and in-line mic and remote controls.
The USB cable are available starting at Rs. 249 and goes up to Rs. 749 depending on the type. In this category, Blaupunkt has launched micro USB 2.0 cables, Apple certified Lightning to USB 2.0 cables and USB Type-C to USB 2.0 cables. They are 1m in length and some of the cable have nylon braiding for durability.
Lastly, the company launched three car chargers, which are priced between Rs. 399 and Rs. 599. They comes with dual-USB output ports to let you charge two devices simultaneously, and also offer fast charging. They also double up as life-saving devices in emergency situations such as cutting seat belts or break the windshields.
Blaupunkt has partnered with New Delhi based distribution Vidur & Co. to sell its mobiles accessories across channels in the country. Most of the accessories like car chargers and earphones are already available for purchase across the country including online retailers like Amazon India.
After India, the company plans to enter SAARC markets such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. The company also announced plans to launch smartphone, smartwatches and tablets next.
The Moto Z and Moto Z Force are now official and comes with modular add-on accessories called Moto Mods that snaps to the back of the phone using the high power magnets to add extra functionality. Motorola touts the Moto Mods to be the next era of mobile technology, and these include Moto Insta-Share projector, JBL SoundBoost, Moto Shells and PowerPack
The Moto Insta-Share Projector Mod can turn the Moto Z into a 70-inch projector, which can project contents to the wall or ceiling with 90 degree projection angle. The projector offers 480 resolution, 1:400 contrast ratio and 50 lumens nominal brightness. It comes with a kickstand so that you can project the content in any angle and with an integrated battery that adds up to an hour of extra screen time.
The JBL SoundBoost Mod is an audio-centric accessory and once snapped to the Moto Z will take control of the phone's audio to boost the sound via its stereo loud speaker. It comes with a kickstand and also features an integrated battery that adds up to 10 hours of life.
The PowerPack will add up to 22 hours of life to the Moto Z and comes in fashionable design from Kate Spade New York, TUMI and Incipio. The Incipio offGRID Power Pack packs a 2200maH battery. The charge contained with the powerpack add-on, will only flow once the Moto Z battery is below 80 percent.
The Moto Style Shells are replaceable back panels that changes the look of the Moto Z. These shells come with premium material like wood, leather or patterned fabrics.
Motorola said the these Moto Mods will also work with furture generations of the Moto Z phones. The Moto Mods will be available alongside Moto Z and Moto Z Force in September. Unfortunately, Moto is yet to reveal any price information regarding the Moto Mods.
The company also announced Moto Mods Developer Program to develop new mods and it will be offering a Module Development Kit to developers. Samsung has unveiled the EVO Plus 256GB microSD card, which offers the highest capacity for a card in its class, and provides fast speeds.
The new microSD card can be used in smartphones, tablets, 360-degree video recorders, action camera and drones. Thanks to the high capacity, the microSD card will be able to store
up to 12 hours of 4K UHD video or 33 hours of 1080p video without

Using the smart pen you can create designs and draw on paper, which will be displayed in real time on a smartphone or laptop. For this the pen uses a small receiver to scan whatever your writing. LG recently confirmed, that the G5 will have an Always ON display, and now the company has introduced the first accessory for the LG G5 - Quick Cover case. The case sports a mesh design that allows touch gestures through the screen.
LG's semi-transparent mesh Cover comes with touch function such as swiping to pick up calls, control alarms checking notifications without having to open the cover. There is also a small windows that gives a peak into the Always ON mode of the G5, which shows date, time and notification.
LG says that the Quick Cover features a “unique film with a glossy metallic finish" for a luxurious feel that
complements the G5 itself.

In addition to the $99 Smart Battery Case for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s, Apple has also introduced Lightning to SD Card Reader, that allows users to easily download photos and videos from digital camera to Apple devices.
The new reader has been updated to supports data transfer at up to USB 3 on iPad Pro. USB 3.0 can reach a signaling rate of 5Gbps, ten times faster than USB 2.0. It also works with iPhone 6s, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 4 and older Lightning-equipped iOS devices, but transfer speeds are limited to USB 2 on these devices, which is also the limit of the old Lightning to SD Card Reader.
After you insert the SD card into the reader, your Apple device automatically opens the photo apps. It supports standard photo formats including JPEG and RAW, along with SD and HD video formats including H.264 and MPEG-4.
As the new adapter looks same as the old one, ensure the model number is MJYT2AM/A that supports USB 3 on iPad Pro and works with iPhones. The old reader model number is MD822ZM/A and is limited to USB 2 speeds on all iPads and doesn't work with iPhones. If you see it, avoid it.

Apple has introduced its first external battery case designed for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s. Apple calls its the Smart Battery Case and promises increased talktime of 25 hours, Internet use of up to 18 hours on LTE, and video playback of 20 hours. The battery capacity hasn't been disclosed though.
The Smart Battery Case has an unsightly bump at the back where the battery resides. Instead of using LED indicators to indicate battery level, the case shows intelligent battery status on the Lock Screen and Notification center on the iPhone.
The outer body is made of silicone and the on the inside its has soft elastomer hinge design, soft microfiber lining to protect your iPhone. The case supports Lightning accessories including Lightning to USB cable and works with the iPhone Lightning Dock. Users well be able to charge the case and their iPhone simultaneously.

OnePlus has launched the Icons in-ear earphones and OnePlus 2 Hard Graft luxury pouch case in India. OnePlus has started selling both the accessories on Amazon India. The Icons in-ear earphones costs Rs. 2,999, while the OnePlus 2 Hard Graft luxury pouch is priced Rs. 7,499.
The OnePlus Icons earphones was introduced last month. It sports a durable design made out of aluminium with a metallic finish. leather that only gets softer with time and protects your device from
the wear and tear. It is lined with final wool to keep the display
fingerprint free. It has two pockets tucked inside to store cards,

Apple has launched its Magnetic Charging Dock for the Apple Watch. Using the dock, you can charge the Apple Watch in a flat position with its band open, or on its side, since it has a small adjustable ring in the center. It is circular and seems to be made out of plastic with the usual magnetic charging puck in the middle.
“When docked on its side, your watch
automatically goes into Nightstand mode, so you can also use it as your
alarm clock,” said Apple.
The dock is powered via the bundled Lightning to USB cable, but it doesn't come with a USB power adapter in the box. Instead, you will have to use the USB power adapter (5W) that comes with the Apple Watch. It uses the same inductive charging connector that comes with Apple Watch and can charge both the 38mm and 42mm Apple Watch models.
The Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock costs $79 and is available in is now available in the U.S via Apple's Online Store, with an estimated shipping date of Friday, November 20. It will be available at Apple Stores as well. $79 is a bit pricey for an Apple Watch dock, when compared to Apple’s official iPhone dock which costs $39.
Peripheral and accessory maker Genius has launched two new portable Bluetooth-enabled speaker in India- the SP 925 BT and SP 906 BT. The SP 925 BT is a cube sized speaker with stereo output and the SP 906 BT is puck sized and is for acoustic music.
