BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition announced

BlackBerry has launched a silver version of its Passport handset, the BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition. It sports stainless steel frame, has and new silver color and the rear panel gets a diamond pattern. The metallic build offers premium looks and longer durability. BlackBerry claims to have improved the Keyboard for easy typing.

BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition has the specs as its regular version. It features 4.5-inch (1440 x 1440 pixels) IPS LCD display and is powered by 2.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB on-board store. The storage is expandable via microSD card up to 128GB. Camerawise, it sports 13-megapixel OIS main camera with BSI sensor and 2-megapixel front shooter. It is fueled by 3450mAh battery, runs BB OS 10 and supports 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, NFC and GPS.

BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition is priced at $549 (Rs. 35,000) and is available from company website. BlackBerry is giving away free accessories with the handset such as Flex Shell, Flip Case and Sync Pod worth $130 (Rs. 8,300). The BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition will be releasing in Europen countries include U.K, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and Netherlands in the coming weeks.
