Lava Iris X5 4G with 13MP main, 8MP front camera launched for Rs. 10,199
Lava has added a new smartphone to its Iris family, the Iris X5 4G. The handset's 4G network is compatible with 4G bands in India.
Lava Iris X5 4G features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display with Asahi Dragon Trail Glass protection and Oleo-phobic coating. Inside there is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB DDR3 RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, expandable via microSD card. It runs Star OS based on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and has Dual-SIM slot.
Camera features include 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash, 1.4 Micron pixel size, f/2.0 aperture and 5 layer Largan lens with blue glass filter. On the front there is an 8-megapixel shooter with LED flash 1.4 Micron pixel size, 84-degree wide angle lens, f/2.4 aperture and 4 layer Largan Lens with blue glass filter.
Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery and comes in Royal Black and Icy White colors. It also has glass back with anti-smudge coating.
The Lava Iris X5 4G is priced at Rs. 10,199 and is available from Amazon India. At this price point, the Iris X5 4G smartphone will be taking on the new Moto G (3rd Gen), Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, and Lenovo K3 Note.
