Asus ROG GX700 is a water-cooled 4k gaming laptop with G-Sync
At IFA trade show in Berlin, Asus announced its latest addition to its ROG (Republic of Gamers) gaming laptop linup, ROG GX700, water-Cooled 4K Gaming Laptop with G-Sync. It sports the new ROG color scheme with Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper accents.
Asus GX700 sports a 17-inch 4K IPS display with 3840 x 2160 pixels screen resolution and is equipped with 6th gen Intel K-SKU processor that can be overlocked and NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics card. It runs Windows 10. It will be available with the choice of SSD and HDD. Other specs include Thunderbolt 3.0 and a revamped keyboard with much deeper keys.
The main highlight is the bulky water cooling system with a pump and radiator that is plugged to the backside. It can be unplugged if the notebook needs to be transported. Maximum thermal design power the cooling system can remove from CPU and GPU are not known.
Not much is known about the Asus GX700. Concrete details will be out during its release sometime in Q4. The prices will start from $1,499.
