LG has announced a new version of its Wine Smart flip phone, the Wine Smart Jazz. The same phone was launched at Gentle for LG U+ in Kore back in July. The Wine Smart Jazz will be exclusive for South Korean carriers SKT and KT. The flip phone features a T9 keyboard and special dedicated 'Q' button that shows frequently opened apps.

The LG Wine Smart Jazz features a 3.2-inch (320 x 480 pixels) touch screen display and is equipped with 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor, further aided by Adreno 304 GPU and 1GB RAM. On-board storage is 4GB, further expandable via microSD. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.

Camerawise, the Wine Smart Jazz sports 3-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel VGA front facing camera. On the connectivity front it supports 4G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 1700mAh battery and comes in Beige and Brown colors.

The LG Wine Smart Jazz is priced at 242,000 South Korean Won ($205 | Rs. 13,500) and is now available in South Korea via local operators SKT and KT.

This is the fifth flip phone from LG, the other four being LG Wine Smart (announced last year in September), LG Ice Cream Smart (January), LG Gentle (July) and the international version LG Wine Smart (August).

LG also announced that the domestic LG Wine series of smartphone sales have crossed 500 million and is getting good response from elders who can easily use the touchpad or keypad at their convenience.
