Micromax Canvas Spark 2 is 'India ka 3G phone' priced at Rs. 3,999
Following the success of Canvas Spark, which was launched back in April, Micromax has launched the Canvas Spark 2 in India. It is being touted as 'India ka 3G phone' and comes with a impressive set of specifications at a low-price tag.
Micromax Canvas Spark 2 features 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor. In-built storage is 4GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 32GB, unfortunately there is no word on RAM. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
For imaging, there is 5-megapixel camera on the back accompanied by LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The phone has dual-SIM slots and supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectvivty. It is fueled by 1800mAh battery and come pre-loaded with Firstouch language solution, Scandid, Kindle, Hotstar, Clean Master, Swiftkey, Snapdeal and more apps. It comes in Black color.
By comparison, the Canvas Spark has 4.7-inch qHD display, 8-megapixel main camera and Rs. 4,999 price tag. Rest of the innards same as Spark 2.
The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 is priced at Rs. 3,999 and will be exclusively available via Snapdeal starting September 30 through flash sales. Registration for the sale starts at 10am on September 23. It comes bundled with set of accessories such as charger, data cable, ear phones and screen protector in the box.
At the said price, Canvas Spark is the most affordable 5-inch 3G smartphone running Android Lollipop in the Indian market.
