HP Envy 8 Note Windows 10 tablet has a 10-inch keyboard dock
HP's Evny Note 8 tablet comes with stylus pen support. It ships with a free stylus pen and an optional 10-inch HP Envy Note Keyboard Folio case. The keyboard dock has an aluminum design and includes a click-pad designed to hold the tablet in place in either landscape or portrait modes. There is also a small loop on the side to hold the bundled stylus pen.
The HP Envy Note 8 features 8-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Inside there is an Intel Atom x5-Z8300 processor (up to 1.84GHz in turbo mode) with Intel HD graphics, 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 64GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. It runs Windows 10.
There is a 5-megapixel rear camera which can record 1080p videos and 2-megapixel front facing camera. It supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG connectivity. Audio is powered by Bang & Olufsen and the tablet offers a battery life of 6 hours.
It comes with HP Instant Note app that lets you start taking notes by simply pressing the pen button in the stylus. “HP Instant Note captures content and embeds links to webpages eliminating extra copy and paste steps, the note is automatically saved in OneNote and can be accessed via HP Notes Hub”, said HP.
The HP Envy Note 8 is priced at $329 for the tablet and the stylus. The Tablet, stylus and keyboard folio bundle costs $429. It will go on sale in the US from November 8.
