Chuwi eBook, a 10.1" Android 4.4 & Windows 8 dual boot stylus tablet
Chinese tablet brand Chuwi has outed a 10-inch tablet called Chuwi eBook that has an active digitizer and comes with a digital pen. The brand says that the tablet can accept 1024 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing you to write or draw on the screen. In addition, it comes with dual boot functionality.
The Chuwi eBook's 10-inch screen has a 1280 x 800 pixels capacitive touchscreen IPS display. It comes with a HanWang ES4 pen which weighs 2.9grams and doesn't require battery. Inside there is an Intel Atom Z3736F Bay Trail processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It ships with Windows 8.1 and Android 4.4 KitKat software.
The tablet is equipped with 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front facing camera. Other features include a HDMI port, micro USB port, headset jack, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and stereo speakers. USB OTG is also supported. A 8000mAh battery promises 5 hours of web browsing, 4 hours of video playback and 300 hours of standby time on a single charge.
