Panasonic HX-A1, a waterproof rugged wearable camera at Rs. 19,990


Panasonic has outed the HX-A1 rugged wearable action camera in India. The camera comes with 0 Lux Night Mode for low-light recordings and IR filter for capturing images effectively in low-light conditions or at night.

The HX-A1 is equipped with a 3.5-megapixel 1/3-inch MOS sensor with an f/2.8 aperture. It is capable of capturing full HD (1080p) videos and can shoot videos at 2.87-megapixels. There is also HD slow motion mode, which allow to shoot 60fps video at 720p and 120fps video at 480p. The loop recording mode lets you continuously record for more than an hour by retaining the recent scenes and deleting older ones, which can be done by managing the video in two-minute segments.

It supports MPEG-4 AVC format and includes a microSD card slot which accepts 128GB cars. Other features include WiFi, built-in 3.7V battery, USB Type-B port. It pairs with compatible smartphones via app and lets you preview your pictures and share them instantly.

The camera weighs just 45g and is waterproof up to 1.5 meters, shockproof, dust proof and freezproof up to -10 degrees. It can be mounted on other accessories like goggles, bags, helmets or tripod via a twin mount, strap adaptor, wind jammer, clip mount and suction clip.

The Panasonic HX-A1 camera is priced at Rs. 19,900 and will be available across all channels in the country.
