Back in July, UMi teased a smartphone dubbed the Zero 2 and now the the Chinese brand has outed the specifications, pricing and availability details of the Zero 2. The smartphone was supposed to have a secondary  E-ink display on the back, just like the Yotaphone, but it is now gone and replaced by a rich looking leather back.

Spec-wise, the UMi Zero 2 features a 5.2-inch Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED display (~565ppi) that is manufactured by Samsung. Under the hood there is a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor with Mali-T800 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. There is no information about microSD card slot.

For photography, the rear is equipped with a dual-camera setup, where one camera sensor is for normal image capturing, while the other camera sensor will give depth-of-field effect. There are no other details revealed.

The UMi Zero 2 gets a price tag of $299 and will be released in Q2 2016. The price represents a good value, as UMi Zero 2 offers characteristics and innards of a high-end smartphone costing over $700.
