Dell introduces new Latitude 7000 series, Inspiron 3000 ultrabook and convertible
At CES 2016, Dell has updated its Latitude line of business laptops with three new models- Latitude 11 7000 and Latitude 12 7000 2-in-1 laptop, and the new Latitude 13 7000 Ultrabook. Dell also introduced a new member of its Inspiron laptop family, the Inspiron 11 3000.
The Latitude 13 7000 features a 13-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) non touch display with Infinity Display technology. It runs Windows 10 Pro and is powered by 6th generation Intel Core M processor and ahs 51GB SSD storage. It comes with USB Type-C, Thunderbolt 3 port for 8x faster data transfer, a smartcard reader, fingerprint reader and a RFID reader. It offers up to 10 hours of battery life, measures 14.32 thin and weighs 2.48 pounds.
The Latitide 12 7000 is a more premium hybrid. It sports a 12.5-inch display and with the option of Full HD or 4K touch display with Gorilla Glass covered screen. It supports up to sixth-gen Intel Core i7 processor, up to 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. It runs Windows Pro and comes with 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2 x USB Type-C ports and an optional stylus pen. The hybrid can be equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon X7 LTE or HSPA+ modems.
The Latitude 11 5000 comes with a 10.8-inch Full HD display and be used in different modes- tent, display, tablet. It can be configured with Intel's Core M3 or M5 processor and run Windows 10. It comes with USB Type-C port, micro HDMI port, SD card reader and an optional stylus.
The Dell Inspiron 11 3000 sports an 11.6-inch display with a resolution of 1366 x 768. The base model features 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and runs Windows 10. It is powered by Intel Celeron or Pentium laptops.
The Dell Latitude 11 5000 and Latitude 12 7000 will go on sale in February 2016 with the Latitude 11 starting at $749, and the Latitude 12 at $1,049. The Latitude 13 7000 Ultrabook will start at $1,299 and will be available in March in the U.S while the Inspiron 11 3000 is priced $199 and releases on January 28.
