Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite with 8MP front camera w/ LED flash announced
Lenovo has unveiled the the selfie-focused Vibe S1 Lite. As the name suggests, the device is a variant of the Vibe S1, which was the world's first smartphone to come with dual-front facing cameras.
The Vibe S1 Lite gets rid of the dual selfie cameras, retaining only an 8-megapixel front snapper with Sony sensor and a soft LED flash for snapping better photos even in low light conditions. The 13-megapixel rear camera comes with dual-tone LED flash, BSI sensor and Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF).
The Lenovo Vibe S1 features 5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is equipped with 1.3 GHz Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor with Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. It comes with 16GB of expandable storage, runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and is fueled by 2700mAh battery. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It comes with Hybrid Dual SIM slot, which means users can either use two SIM cards or a Single SIM card alongside a microSD card.
The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite is priced at $199 (Rs. 13,250) and will go sale early 2016. It comes in Matte White and Matte Blue colors.
