Samsung unveils HW-K950 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos
Samsung has already announced that it will be showcasing a bunch of products including home appliances, Smart TVs, C-Lab projetcs and more at CES 2016, Las Vegas. Unfortunately the company has no plans to unveil a smartphone. That being said, the South Korean electronics giant has added a new product to its CES 2016 portfolio - HW-K950 Soundbar.
Samsung's HW-K950 is the company's first sound bar with Dolby Atmos technology and industry's first soundbar package to include two Dolby Atmos enable wireless rear speakers. The main soundbar chassis is only 2.1 inches tall. To remind you, Lenovo also uses Dolby Atmos Technology on their smartphones, tablets and laptops.
The sound bar uses three forward facing drivers and two upward facing drivers, that bounce the sound off the ceiling, that bounce the sound off the ceiling to delivers a rich, yet detailed sound for realistic experience. The system includes a wireless subwoofer and a pair of wireless surround speakers that also incorporate upward-firing drivers, enabling the system to deliver a 5.1.4-channel of surround sound.
Samsung will showcase the HW-K950 Soundbar at CES 2016, Las Vegas at the Samsung Booth, #11906 in Central Hall.
