ZTE nubia Prague S with all-metal design, Iris scanner announced
ZTE has expanded its nubia line up with the launch of nubia Prague S in China. The handset has an all metal model with anodized aluminum frame that is 6.8mm slim. There is a feature called FiT (Frames Interactive Technology) for one hand use and an Eyepring ID scanner.
The ZTE nubia Prague S features 5.2-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED OGS display with 2.5D arc Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 processor paired with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB RAM. On-board storage is 64GB, further expandable via microSD card up to 128GB.
For photography, it sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 5P lens, while the front facing snapper is 8-megapixel. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with nubia UI 3.0 on top and houses Hybrid Dual Slot (micro SIM + nano SIM or micro SIM + microSD card).
Connectivity features include 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (Dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2200mAh battery with fast charging support, which is rated to charge the handset from 0-25 percent in 10 minutes . The audio is powered by NeoSound 4.0, AKM4375 Hi-Fi audio chip7.1-channel Dolby audio and Dolby decoder.
ZTE has priced the nubia Prague S at either CNY 2,399 ($365) or CNY 3,499 ($380) depending on the cellular option. It is now up for pre-order in China and goes on sale starting January 23 in China in Silver and Rose Gold colors.
