HTC Desire 530, Desire 630, Desire 825 announced


HTC has made an appearance at the MWC 2016 as it announced three new Desire series smartphone- Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825. They have a playful design that might attract younger audience.

Using a specially created micro splash effect on the polycarbonate shell, HTC claims to have crafted the new Desire series smartphone, HTC has also created two-tone snap on cases, designer lanyards and over 25,000 themes that change the device’s colour scheme and background based on the user’s favourite photos.

The Desire 530 and Desire 630 share the same design but comes with different specs. Even though they have same design, only the Desire 630 house BoomSound Dolby audio. The HTC Desire 825 supports motion launch and comes with HTC Sensor Hub, an always on feature that records user activity, gestures and dynamic movement, providing real-time stats. It is also Hi-res Audio certified, and comes with BoomSound with Dolby Audio capabilities.

The Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825 runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow with HTC Sense 7.0 UI. 

HTC Desire 530 
The HTC Desire 530 sports a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super LCD display and is powered by 1.1GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor with Adreno 304 GPU and 1.5GB RAM. For storage there is 8GB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card.

For photography, there is 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.4 aperture and 720p video recording capabilities. For clicking selfies there is 5-megapixel front snapper. The phone supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS / GLONASS connectivity. It packs a 2200mAh battery and comes in Graphite Grey and Solid Stratus White colors.

HTC Desire 630
The HTC Desire 630 has a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super LCD display and is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

It is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.4 aperture and is capable of recording 1080p video. On the front there is a 5-megapixel selfie camera. It supports 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX, GPS / GLONASS and NFC connectivity, and fueled by 2200mAh battery. It comes in Stratus White Remix with duo color micro splash and Graphite Gray Remix with gold micro splash colors.


HTC Desire 825
The HTC Desire 825 features 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) Super LCD display and is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be increased via microSD card up to 128GB.

For imaging, it sports 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, BSI sensor, f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording capabilities. Front facing camera is 5-megapixel. For connectivity, there is 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS connectivity. It is fueled by a 2700mAh battery and comes in Stratus White Remix with duo color micro splash and Graphite Gray Remix with gold micro splash colors.

The HTC Desire 530, Desire 630 and Desire 825 will be available starting from March. The pricing is yet to be announced.
