Lenovo unveils Tab 3 7, Tab 3 8, Tab 3 10 Business Android tablets
Lenovo has announced three new tablet running Android 6.0 Marshmallow - the Tab 3 7, Tab 3 8 and Tab 3 10 Business. All the tablets come in two variants - WiFi only and 4G LTE.
The Tab 3 7 and Tab 3 8 are budget family friendly tablets with multi-user modes, dedicated kid's mode and Kid-friendly feature, while the Tab 3 10 Business is aimed for business use and comes with Android For Work support and an array of security and encryption options, Google Play for Work, and a Kiosk mode that lets users set it up as an interactive kiosk. All three tablets also have Dolby ATMOS-powered speakers.
Lenovo Tab 3 7 and Tab 3 8
The Lenovo Tab 3 7 and Tab 3 8 share similar specs except for the display and battery. The Tab 3 7 sports a 7-inch 1024 x 600 pixels IPS display, packs a 3450mAh battery and gets IP52 splash-proof certification with P2i Nono Coating technology, while the Tab 3 8 has a 8-inch 1280 x 800 IPS display and fueled by 4290mAh battery.
Both the tablets are equipped with 1GHz quad-core MediaTek 64-bit processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage (storage expansion up to 32GB via microSD card slot), 5MP rear camera and 2MP front camera. Connectivity features include 4G LTE (variant), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Lenovo Tab 3 10 Business
The Lenovo Tab 3 10 Business sports a 10.1-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The tablet is equipped with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 64-bit processor, 2GB/3GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage (microSD card slot present). There is a 8-megapixel rear camera (w/ 1080p video recording) and 5-megapixel front camera.
For connectivity there is 4G LTE (optional), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by a 7000mAh battery. The tablet has the capability to withstand wear and tear of tough working environment to achieve IP52 performance for dust and splash proofing.

- Lenovo Tab 3 7 – Slate Black, Polar White, Sakura Pink and Aqua Blue colors – Starts at $129 (Rs.9,000), available from June 2016
- Lenovo Tab 3 8 – Slate Black and Polar White colors – Starts at $99 (Rs. 7,000) for Wi-Fi only and $149 with LTE, available from June 2016
- Lenovo Tab 3 10 Business – Slate Black color – Starts at $199 (Rs. 14,000) for WiFi only, $249 with 2GB of RAM and LTE, and $299 for 3GB of RAM and LTE, Available starting in June 2016
