Smartron t.book Windows 10 convertible launched for Rs. 39,990
Smartron, a consumer electronics startup backed by Sachin Tendulkar (who is also the brand ambassador), has announced the launch of several products. One of them is a 2-in-1 Windows 10 tablet called tBook. The tablet comes with a detachable keyboard, and can be used as a laptop when the keyboard is attached (connects using magnetic pogopin connector). It also has a flip-out stand that allows it to be used in stand-mode.
The Smartron t.book convertible features 12.2-inch WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels) IPS display with oleophobic coating and is powered by Intel Core M processor that offers Turbo boost speed of up to 2GHz with 4GB LPDDR3 RAM and 128GB SSD storage. It can be configred with Windows 10 Home or Pro.
It gets a 5MP rear camera, 2MP fron camera and comes with 2 x USB 3.0 ports, a micro HDMI port, USB Type-C port (for charging) and microSD card reader. For wireless connectivity there is WiFi 802.11ac dual band MIMO and Bluetooth.
A 37Whr battery keeps it running, which promises up to 10 hours of web browsing and 28 days of standby time. It also houses 2 x 1W stereo speakers and dual microphones for noise cancellation.
The Smartron t.book is priced at Rs. 39,999 and will go sale exclusively through Gadgets360 starting April 8. Smarton also announced that it will launch its first smartphone, t.phone with 5.5-inch display at an event in Hyderabad on April 18. The company has also built Tron.X, a cloud based platform which connects all of IoT devices to offer Smart Home like services.

The features are good and the product looks tempting for gadget geeks. The pricing is also competitive.

DeleteWhether Sachin knows or not, A project named National Dairy plan phase -1 need lot (1 lakh) t books/ netbooks in year phasewise,which helps in ration balancing in milch animals thereby it can enrich the farmers poverty.
