DataWind launches its first Intel based tablet 'PC i3G7' in India


Budget tablet maker DataWind has launched the PC i3G7 tablet, the company's first to utilize Intel's processor. The tablet comes with dual-SIM slot, 3G support and voice calling capabilities. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

The DataWind PC i3G7 tablet sports 7-inch 1024 x 600 IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom x3 processor, with 1GB RAM and 8GB inbuilt expandable storage (via microSD card up to 32GB). It gets 2MP rear and VGA front facing camera, and apart from 3G, it supports WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity. It is fueled by 2800mAh battery, which offers talk time of up to four hours and standby time of up to five days.

The tablet also comes with the company's proprietary web delivery technology, that offer high speed Intenet browsing at the lowest data cost possible. Internet browsing for the first year will be free, says DataWind.

The DataWind PC i3G7 is priced at Rs. 5,999 and is exclusively available for purchase from Gadgets360. Currently it is being sold for Rs. 4,444. It comes in Black color only.
