Gionee Pioneer P5 mini with 4.5-inch display launched in India for Rs. 5,439

Soon after launching the Pioneer P5L, Gionee has now launched another smartphone, dubbed Pioneer P5 Mini in India, which sits in the budget segment. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Amigo 3.0 UI on top and offers decent specs for the price tag it carries.

The Gionee Pioneer P5 mini features a 4.5-inch WVGA (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display with Asahi Dragontrail protection and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6580M processor with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which supports storage expansion via microSD card.

Camera-wise, it sports 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 2-megapixel front facing camera. The dual-SIM phone supports 3G HSPA+, WiFi 801.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS connectivity and is fueled by 1850mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 9 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 237 hours on 3G networks.

Priced at Rs. 5,349, the Gionee P5 mini can now be purchased from Gionee's offical online store. It comes in Red, White, Black, Blue, Yellow and Gold colors.
