Panasonic Eluga Arc with 4.7-inch display, fingerprint sensor launched at Rs. 12,499


Panasonic has launched a new smartphone in India called Eluga Arc, which is the company's first smartphone to sports a 2.5D curved display. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back, which can be configured with five different fingerprints and voice commands for picking calls, launching apps, snapping selfies and one-step screen unlocking.

The Panasonic Eluga Arc features 4.7-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS 2.5D Curved glass display and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) 64-bit processor coupled with Adreno 305 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It runs Android 5.1 Lollopop and houses Hybrid Dual SIM slot (second slot accepts microSD card or SIM card).

For imaging, Eluga Arc gets an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5-megapixel front facing camera. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE with VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 1800mAh battery. It also comes with Infrared sensor for remote control functions and supports Android for Work.

The Panasonic Eluga Arch is priced at Rs. 12,490 and will be available through online and offline channels across the country. It comes in Gold color only.
