ZTE ZMax Pro is a $99 6-inch Android Marshmallow phablet


Last week ZTE started taking pre-order for the top-end $399 Axon 7 smartphone in the U.S, and now the Chinese smartphone maker has introduced a new budget smartphone for the U.S market dubbed ZMax Pro.

The ZTE ZMax Pro runs Android Marshmallow, has a fingerprint scanner at the back and features 6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Gorilla Glass 3 display and is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 617 processor further aided by Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 32GB, which can be increased via microSD card.

It gets 13-megapixel rear camera with LED falsh and 5-megapixel front facing camera. For connectivity there's 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C. It is fueled by 3400mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0.

Priced at $99, the ZTE ZMax Pro is priced at $99 after in-store rebate and is now available for order from MetroPCs in the U.S. It comes in Blue color and ships from August 1.
