The fifth and final Developer Preview for Android 7.0 Nougat is out

Google has released the fifth and final Developer Preview for Android 7.0 Nougat, before the official public roll out later this year.

Developer Preview 5 does not bring any feature but comes with near final system images for supported devices, final Android N APIs, bug fixes and and optimizations across the system and in pre-installed apps. Google warns that the latest developer preview has minor stability issues, along with multi-window, camera, DND, Vulkan and Android Auto bugs.

Android N Developer preview 5 (build NPD90G) is now available for download for Nexus 6, Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus 9, and Pixel C and General Mobile 4G (Android One). Users who are on Android Beta Program will get the update right away, while others can visit Android's website and register to receive OTA (over-the-air) updates on their devices.

Android 7.0 Nougat is expected to be available in Q3 2016, likely in September.
