Acer Predator 21 X is a gaming laptop with 21-inch curved display
Acer has unveiled a new Windows 10 gaming laptop dubbed Predator 21 X, which is being touted as the world's first laptop to sport curved display. The laptop is aimed at gamers without budget limits and is a gaming powerhouse.
The Acer Predator 21 X has 21-inch curved IPS display with a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels. The processing power is handled by 7th-gen Intel's Kaby Lake processor and has two NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card with SLI, which makes it VR-ready.
It can be configured with up to 64GB DDR4 RAM and includes 2T2R 802.11ac + Bluetooth WiFi module, 2 x USB Type-A ports, a USB Type-C port and 2 x DisplayPort for connectivity.
The laptop comes with a mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX switches and five programmable button. It also has Tobi infrared eye-tracking sensors in the display, which lets you control compatible games without using a countroller. To keep the machine cool during long gaming sessions, it has five fans with several heat pipes.
The Acer Predator 21 X will go on sale in Q1 2017. There’s no details regarding its pricing, but expect it to be priced higher.
