Asus outs new ZenFone GO variant (ZB450KL) with Android Marshmallow, Snapdraon 410 SoC


Asus has introduced a new model of the budget ZenFone Go (ZB450KL) in Russia with upgraded innards. The new ZenFone Go runs Android Marshmallow with ZenUI 2.0 on top and comes in 3G and 4G variants (LTE Cat. 4 download speeds).

The Asus ZenFone GO ZB405KL has 4.5-inch display bearing a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor paired with Adreno 360 GPU and 1GB RAM. It comes with 8GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It gets 8-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and an LED flash. On the front, it offers 2-megapixel selfie shooter. For connectivity there's 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. A 2070mAh battery keeps the phone running.

The Asus ZenFone GO ZB406KL is priced at RUB 7900 ($ | Rs. 8,000) and will go on sale in Russia soon. There's no word on whether Asus plans to launch the handset in other markets.

To this year in April, Asus launched the ZenFone Go (ZB452KG) in India priced at Rs. 5,299 with Snapdragon 200 and Android 5.1 Lollipop on-board.
