Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus with fingerprint scanner, Android Marshmallow, 4G LTE launched at Rs. 7,999


Micromax launched the Canvas Unite 4 and Unite 4 Pro with Indus OS for Rs.6,999 and Rs. 7,499 respectively earlier this year. Now the brand has launched new Canvas Unite 4 variant dubbed Canvas Unite 4 Plus with improved specs. The phone sports full metal body and has fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.

The Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus features 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor aided by Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM. On-board storage is 16GB, which can be increased via microSD card (up to 64GB).

For photography, there's 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 5-megapixel camera on front with accompanied by LED flash as well. Connectivity duties are handled by 4G LTE, 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. It is fueled by 2500mAh battery.

Software wise, the Canvas Unite 4 Plus runs Android Marshmallow based Indus OS 2.0 that comes with system-wide support for 12 Indian languages, and offers translation based features like Indus Swipe, a hybrid keyboard, Text-to-Speech (Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali and Telugu) and App Bazaar's regional language market place.

The Micromax Canvas Unite 4 Plus is priced at Rs. 7,999 and will be available from retail stores across the country. It comes in Gold, Grey and Silver colors.
