Nexus Sailfish with 5-inch display, Snapdragon 820 SoC spotted on GFXBench

Earlier this year reports suggested that Google's 2016 Nexus smartphones will be made by HTC. Codenamed Marlin and Sailfish, the possible specs and design of the phone has already surfaced online. Last month Sailfish's build file was leaked, which revealed a few specs, and now the phone has been spotted on GFXBench benchmarking website with a few details on its specs.

As per GFXBench listing, the Nexus Sailfish will have 5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 820 SoC, 4GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 12MP rear camera, 8MP front camera and NFC support. While the OS version is not listed, Sailfish is likely to run Android 7.0 Nougat.

It's worth noting that, most of the specs listed on GFXBench is in line with the specs that were out earlier, expect for the screen which was 5.2-inch. Note that benchmarking results are not always accurate, so take these with a pinch of salt.

The 2016 Nexus devices are expected to go official sometime in September.
