Samsung Galaxy Note7 variant with 6GB RAM, 128GB storage surfaces on China's TENAA

Several reports in the past have suggested a 6GB RAM and 128GB/256 storage options for the Galaxy Note7. However, the phablet was officially unveiled last week with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Now a new listing on China's TENAA suggests that there will be a 6GB RAM/128GB storage model of Galaxy Note7.

The new Galaxy Note7 model will carry model number SM-N9300 and is not clear if it will be exclusive to China, or released in other markets.

Unlike Galaxy Note5, which released in both 32GB and 64GB storage model, Samsung only launched a single 64GB storage model of the Note7, so it is likely that a 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage model is in the works. This new model also comes with hybrid dual SIM slots that lets you use the secondary SIM slot as a microSD expansion slot when required (up to 256GB supported).

The Galaxy Note7 also featured an iris scanner, that lets you unlock the phone using your eyes, IP68 certification for water and dust resistance, dual curved edge display and USB Type-C port.

Recently the Galaxy Note7's pricing was revealed for the U.S and European market, which starts as $849.99 (Rs. 57,000). If Samsung plans to release the 6GB RAM/128GB storage Galaxy Note7 model, there's no doubt the price will go up. Currently it is not known when Samsung will unveil this model.
