Coolpad Max receives massive Rs. 11,000 price cut, now available for Rs. 13,999

Coolpad Max, which was launched in India back in May this year for Rs. 24,999, has received a massive price cut of Rs. 11,000. The phone is now available for Rs. 13,999 exclusively on Amazon India in Gold and Rose Gold colors.

The massive price cut is part of Coolpad's first year anniversary in India, and at this point it is not clear if the price cut is permanent or temporary. However, given the higher price tag of Coolpad Max, and receiving lot of criticism for the same, the price cut appears to be permanent. With the revised aggressive pricing, Coolpad would also take advantage of the festive season to drive the sales of Max.

To recap, the Coolpad Max features metal unibody design, 5.5-inch 1080p 2.5D cuved glass display, Snapdragon 617 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, dual SIM slots, 4G LTE, Android 5.1 Lollipop, fingerprint scanner and 2800mAh battery. The main highlight of the phone was its "Dual Spaces" features that allowed users to use two WhatsApp, Facebook, or any other social accounts on the device.

At the new price, Coolpad Max will give competition to LeEco's Le Max 2, Lenovo Vibe K5 Note, Xiaomi Mi Max and Moto G4 Plus.
