Intex Aqua HD 5.5 with 5.5-inch display, selfie flash launched for Rs. 5,637
Intex has listed a new entry-level 3G smartphone on its website dubbed Aqua HD 5.5 with dual SIM support, Android Marshmallow and Selfie flash. The phone is aimed at younger audience, as the company is marketing it with the tag line "For the Young Guns".
As the name suggests, the Intex Aqua HD 5.5 sports a 5.5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display and is powered by quad-core MediaTek MT6580w processor coupled with Mali-400MP GPU and 1GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.
For photography, both the front and rear camera feature a 5-megapixel unit accompanied by an LED flash, and offers Voice Capture, Face Detection, Smile Shot and Victory Symbol Capture. A 2800mAh battery fuels the phone, which is rated to deliver eight hour of talk time and up to 450 hours of standby time. Apart from 3G and dual-SIM slots, there's also support for WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS connectivity.
The Intex Aqua HD 5.5 is priced at Rs. 5,637 and comes bundled with screen guard and a protection cover. The phone will be available in Champagne and Blue colors.
