Honor 8 with dual-rear cameras launched in India for Rs. 29,999
Honor, a Huawei brand has launched the Honor 8 in India. The handset is priced at Rs. 29,999 and will available from Amazon India, Flipkart and Honor store online. It will also be available through offline retailers as well.
The main highlight of Honor 8 is its dual 12MP rear camera setup. One of the 12MP unit uses RGB color sensor, while the other uses monochrome sensor to capture better photos. The RGB sensor allow capturing rich color, and the monochrome sensor capture more light with increased sharpness. When both 12MP unit work in tandem, they offer crispier and detailed photos. The rear camera also boasts laser auto-focus, dual-tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture and 1.76 micron pixel size. The selfie camera on the front is a 8MP unit.
The Honor 8 flaunts a premium metal unibody design that comes in Sunrise Gold, Pearl White or Sapphire Blue color. The fingerprint scanner is at the back and also doubles as physical button, letting you open preset shortcuts and apps with a press, long press and double press.
As for the specs, the Honor 8 has a 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display, octa-core Kirin 950 processor with Mali T800 MP4 GPU, 4G RAM, 32GB on-board storage, microSD card slot, 4G LTE, NFC, USB Type-C port and 3000mAh battery with fast charging support. It runs EMUI 4.1 based on Android Marshmallow.
The Honor 8 comes is backed by extended warranty for two years, free replacement for three months for manufacturing defects and screen replacement warranty for three months.
