HTC One X9 successor X10 coming in January 2017 with Helio P10
The HTC One X9 is a mid-range smartphone with 5.5-inch display, MediaTek Helio X10 chip, which was launched in India back in May for Rs. 25,990. Now it appears that HTC is working on its successor.
Dubbed HTC X10, the phone was certified by the Russia's Eurasian Economic Commission earlier in November, confirming the existence of the device. Now a rumor coming out of China has spilled beans about its specs.
The HTC X10 will reportedly feature the same 5.5-inch Full HD display as One X9, but come with MediaTek's Helio P10 processor instead of Helio X10 powering its predecessor. The Helio P10 chip features a octa-core 2GHz CPU (Cortex A-53 cores) carrying Mali-T860 GPU.
Other rumored specs include 3GB RAM and 13MP OIS rear camera, which is also found on One X9. If the rumors are true, the HTC One X9 successor, X10 is getting a processor upgrade.
The phone will be available in single-SIM or dual-SIM variant depending on the region.
The rumor also suggests that HTC X10 will be priced at CNY 2000 ($287 | Rs. 19,500) and will launch in January 2017.
