Asus Chromebook Flip (C302) announced starting at $499

Asus has upgraded its Chromebook Flip convertible laptop with a new beefier model called Chromebook Flip C302 with a faster processor, bigger and higher resolution display, more storage and RAM. It runs Chrome OS and has support for Google Play Store and Android apps.

The Asus Chromebook Flip features 12.5-inch Full HD touchscreen disply with 360 degree hinge, which lets the Chromebook to be used in laptop, tablet, stand or tent mode. Asus is offering models with Intel Core M-6Y30 or Core M-6Y75 processor with 4GB or 8GB RAM and 32GB, 64GB or 128GB eMMC storge options.

Connectivity options include 2 x USB 3.1 Type-C ports, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm audio jack, stereo speakers and SDcard reader. Other features include HD webcam, backlit keyboard and 39Wh battery, which is rated to deliver 10 hours of run time.

The Asus Chromebook Flip C302 starts at $499 (Rs. 34,000) and is now available in the U.S.
