The AsusPro B9440 is the world's lightest 14-inch business laptop

Asus at the ongoing CES 2017 announced a new business laptop dubbed AsusPro B9440, which it claims to be the world's lightest 14-inch business laptop. It sports thin bezels, magnesium-alloy case and weighs only 2.3 pounds which is 1Kg. Asus has fitted a 14-inch screen into a 13-inch chassis to achieve the light-weight.

The AsusPro B9440 features 14-inch display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) screen resolution and will be available with the options of  Core i5 and Core i7 Kaby Lake processor. It supports 8GB/16GB RAM and 512MB M.2 solid state storage.

It comes with a fingerprint reader and spill-resistant keyboard and includes ports for 2 x USB Type-C which you can use to connect a docking station or USB hub. It promises up to 10 hours of battery life.

The AsusPro B9440 will go on sale in May starting at $999.
