Intex launches Aqua 4.0 4G, Aqua Young 4G with VoLTE support

Continuing its aggressive push into the VoLTE enabled budget smartphone segment, Intex has launched two smartphone called Aqua 4.0 4G and Aqua Young 4G. 

Both are upgraded models of Aqua 4.0 and Aqua Young, which only supported 3G networks. The new phones get 4G LTE as well as VoLTE support. They also come with dual-SIM slots and run Android Marshmallow.

The Aqua 4.0 4G offers outdated specs like 4-inch WVGA AMOLED display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card. It comes with 2MP rear camera with LED flash and VGA front facing camera. A 1500mAh battery runs the show.

The Intex Aqua Young 4G on the other hand has 5-inch FWVGA TN display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M processor. It comes with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, microSD card slot, 5MP front and rear camera and 2800mAh battery.

The Intex Aqua 4.0 4G is priced at Rs. 4,199, while the Aqua Young 4G cost 5849. Both will be available through major retailers across the country.
