LG X power2 with 4500mAh battery, Android Nougat announced

LG is expanding its X series line up with the addition of the battery-centric X power2 smartphone.

As the name suggests, the X power2 is aimed at the power hungry users packing a beefy 4500mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 15 hours of video playback, up to 18 hours of web surfing and up to 14 hours of GPS navigation. It also supports fast charging, promising charge of up to 50 percent in one hour and full charge in just two hours.

The LG X power2 features 5.5-inch HD In-cell display and is powered by an 1.5GHz octa-core processor with 1.5GB/2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It gets 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP wide angle front camera with soft LED flash to deliver quality selfies in low-light environment. The camera offers features like Auto Shot (automatically trigger the front cameras shutter when face is detected), Gesture and Gesture Interval shots (responds to hand signal to eliminate the need of pressing shutter), and Quck Share (share snaps on social media platform with just one tap).

Running Android Nougat, the X power2 supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, USB OTG and GPS for connectivity. The phone also boasts Comfort View feature, which reduces the amount of blue light emitted by the display, making it comfortable to read e-books and web comics.

The LG X power2 will be initially available in Latin America in March, followed by U.S, Asia, Europe and other regions later. It comes in Black Titan, Shiny Titan, Shiny Gold and Shiny Blue hues. Pricing will announced at the time of availability.
