Counter attack: Airtel's new Rs. 399 plan offers unlimited calls and 1GB data for 70 days


To counter Reliance Jio's Dhan Dhana Dhan offer, Airtel has reportedly announced new plans for its 4G prepaid subscribers.

Airtel's new promotional offer start at Rs. 244 and offers 1GB 4G data per day and unlimited Airtel-to-Airtel calls. The Rs. 399 plan will give unlimited calls to any network and 1GB data per day for 70 days.

There's also Rs. 648 plan to counter Jio's Rs. 509 plan. It includes unlimited calls to any networks across the country, alongside 2GB data per day for three months.

It's worth mentioning that, Airtel's new promotional 4G plans is valid only for existing prepaid subscribers with 4G enabled smartphone and 4G Airtel SIM card. For users who don't have 4G smartphone, these offers are not valid.

The teleco also plans to introduce two first recharge plans (FRC) as well for new Airtel customers. The FRC of Rs. 293 will give new Airtel 4G prepaid subscriber unlimited Airtel-to-Airtel calls ands 1GB data for 70 days. The FRC 449 plan will give unlimited calling to any network and 1GB data per days for 70 days.

Airtel is yet to make an official announcement about these offers, however, you can check for the eligibility of this offer via My Airtel app's "best offers for you" section.
