Meizu M5c with 3000mAh battery, Android Nougat announced


Meizu has announced a new budget mid-range smartphone called Meizu M5c, a stripped down version of Meizu M5 for the international market. It sports polycarbonate unibody design which is available in a range of colors incluing Black, Gold, Blue, Red and Pink.

The Meizu M5c features 5-inch HD display and is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, which can be increased via microSD card.

For photographty, there's 8MP f/2.0 rear camera and 5MP selfie camera. It supports dual-SIMs, 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and is fueled by 3000mAh battery. There's also a fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button.



It runs Android Nougat based Flyme OS 6 and comes with Meizu's One Mind AI tech, that learns your usage patterns and based on that allocates memory to your applications in order to deliver the best experience.

Meizu did not reveal the pricing and availability details, but said the M5c will launch globally in Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Brunei, Cambodia, Mainland China, France, Hong Kong, India, Israel, Italy, Myanmar, New Zealand, Russia, Spain and Ukraine.
