Samsung outs Galaxy Wide 2 with 3300mAh battery

Samsung has announced the successor to the budget Galaxy Wide smartphone in home country of South Korea dubbed Galaxy Wide 2 (SM-J727S).

The Samsung Galaxy Wide 2 features 5.5-inch HD LCD display with 2.5D curved glass on top and is powered by an octa-core 1.6GHz octa-core processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB on-board storage, that can be further increased via microSD card.

The camera department includes 13MP f/1.9 rear camera with LED flash and 5MP selfie camera on the front. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It runs Android Nougat and is fueled by 3300mAh battery.

The Galaxy Wide 2 had been priced at KRW 297,000 ($265 | Rs. 17,000) and is available is South Korea via mobile carrier SK Telecom in Black and Silver color. It is most likely to launch under a different name globally.
