Sony Xperia X1, Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact reportedly set for IFA 2017 release
Sony Mobiles expanded the Xperia X smartphone line up at this year's MWC 2017, with the mid-range Xperia XA1 and Xperia X A1 Ultra, and the high-end flagship, Xperia XZ Premium and Xperia XZs. The company also launched a entry-level device, the Xperia L1. Now it appears that Sony is working on three new smartphones, and will launch it later this year.
According to a new report, Sony will announce three new smartphone namely, Xperia Z1, Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact at IFA 2017. The Xperia X1 will be an upper mid-range offering, while the Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact will be flagship devices equipped with Qualcomm's top-tier processor.
If the report is true, the Xperia X1 will feature 5.5-inch Full HD display, and will be powered by Qualcomm's latest mid-range Snapdragon 660 processor. It will come with 4GB RAM and 2800mAh battery.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 will have 5.2-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 4GB RAM and 3000mAh battery.
Lastly,the Xperia XZ1 Compact, as the name suggests will be a compact version of the Xperia XZ1, but will pack powerful hardware. Like the Xperia XZ1, the compact model, will feature Snapdragon 835 chip and 4GB RAM, but gets 4.6-inch Full HD display and a smaller 2800mAh battery.
The report also says that Sony's three new smartphones will come with improved camera thanks new camera technology called "full pixel continuous" auto-focus, without giving further details.
