Alleged Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) tablet specs outed by GFXBench

An unannounced Samsung tablet carrying model number SM-T385 has been spotted on GFXBench, and is reportedly the 2017 edition Galaxy Tab A 8.0, given the fact that its 2015 predecessor had the model number SM-T350.

Considering the specs listed on the benchmark, the tablet is a mid-ranger. As per the listing, the Galaxy Tab 8.0 has 8-inch HD display bearing the resolution 1280 x 800 pixels.

It will be equipped with 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 435 processor, 2GB RAM, and 16GB storage. The tablet will most likely have microSD card slot for expanding the storage.

It will sport 8MP rear camera and 5MP front camera and run Android Nougat. The battery capacity is not known, but it could be between 4000mAh and 4500mAh.

Earlier the tablet received WiFi certification from WiFi Alliance, and revealed the tablet will support dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4GHz, 5GHz) and Wi-Fi Direct connectivity.

There is no word when Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017).
