Honor 8 Pro with 6GB RAM, dual-cameras coming to India next month
Huawei sub-brand Honor has announced that it will be bringing the flagship Honor 8 Pro smartphone in India in the first half of July, though the pricing is yet to be revealed.
Honor 8 Pro is essentially the global variant of the Honor V9, which was released in China back in February, and in April was launched in UK and Europe at 474.99 GBP and 549 Euros respectively (around Rs. 38,000).
Like Honor's previous flagship offerings, the Honor 8 Pro sports a premium all-metal unibody design with a slim 7mm waistline, and has a dual-camera system at the back. It runs Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1 and has a fingerprint scanner at the back.
The dual camera system consists of 12MP (Monochrome) + 12MP (RGB) sensors and are also capable of capturing 3D creative photos, which can be used to make 3D prints. The rear cameras features f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, laser auto-focus, dual-LED flash and is capable of recording 4K videos.
As for the other specs, the Honor 8 Pro features 5.7-inch QHD display, 2.4GHz octa-core Hi-Silicon Kirin 960 processor, 6GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, 8MP selfie camera, NFC, USB Type-C and 4000mAh battery, that promises two days of battery life on normal usage or 1.44 days with heavy usage.
When it in the country in July, the Honor 8 Pro will be available exclusively through Amazon India in Navy Blue, Platinum Gold and Midnight Black.
