Karbonn Aura Note 2 with 5.5-inch display, Android Nougat launched for Rs. 6,490


Karbonn has launched a new Nougat based budget smartphone in India dubbed Aura Note 2. It is the successor of Aura Note 4G and comes with minor upgrades, but ditches the fingerprint scanner. 

It comes with an artificial intelligence-enable Fashion app, called 'Vistoso' which allows users to search for an outfit by simply clicking its picture. And with the AI engine, the app automatically recognizes the print, pattern and color of the outfit to give relevant results.

In terms of specifications Karbonn Aura Note 2 features 5.5-inch HD display and is equipped with 1.25GHz quad-core processor and 2900mAh battery, that's rated to deliver up to eight hours of talk time and up to 192 hours of stanby time. It comes with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, that can be expanded via microSD card.

Camera department includes 13MP rear camera with LED flash, and 5MP camera on the front. The dual-SIM phone runs Android Nougat and supports 4G, VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and USB OTG for connectivity.

The Karbonn Aura Note 2 has been priced at Rs. 6,490 and will be available for purchase through both online and offline channels. The color options include Coffee-Champagne and Black-Champagne.
