Instead of selling it online like Motorola's previous offerings to India market, the new Moto C will be available through offline mobile stores, in over 100 cities. Going offline means Moto C does not have to deal with Xiaomi storm, and the main competitors will be devices from domestic smartphone vendors including Micromax, Lava and Karbonn.

In terms of specs, the Moto C features 5-inch FWVGA (854 x 480 pixels) display and is equipped with 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M chip, 1GB RAM, and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

It has 5MP camera at the back, and 2MP camera at the front, both accompanied by LED flash. Connectivity options are dual-SIM slots, 4G w/ VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It is fueled by 2350mAh battery, and boots Android Nougat.

All this is packed into a polycarbonate body, sporting micro-textured back cover, that comes in Pearl White and Starry Black colors.
