Moto G5 & G5 Plus now available through offline stores


It appears that Lenovo owned Motorola is revising its retail strategy in India to boost offline sales and presence. The company recently launched the Moto C in the country, and would be selling it through offline retail stores in around 100 cities. 

Now, Motorola has started selling the popular Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus offline as well. According to Gadgets360 citing sources reports that "offline retailers have received stocks of the two phones as well, making them now available online as well as offline." This was also confirmed by Lenovo.

So far, the Moto G5 was being sold online exclusively on Amazon India, while the Moto G5 Plus was a Flipkart exclusive.

To recap the specs, the Moto G5 comes with 5-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 430 processor, 3GB RAM, 16GB storage, 13MP/5MP cameras and 2800mAh battery. It is priced at Rs. 11,999.

The Moto G5 Plus is offered in two variants: 3GB RAM/16GB storage priced at Rs. 14,999, and 4GB RAM/64GB storage priced Rs. 16,999. It's other specs include 5.2-inch Full HD display, Snapdragon 625 processor, 12MP/5MP cameras and 3000mAh battery.

Both share some common features including water repellent coating, metal body, Android Nougat, fingerprint scanner, 4G LTE, dual-SIM slots, microSD card slot, and fast charging support.
