It revealed features like metal body, dual-rear camera, IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, Always-on display and Turbo Charging. Now Evan Blass (via Venture Beat) has shared more details about the specs.

According to the source, the Moto X4 will have "top-of-the-line components for a top-notch user experience at an affordable price".Running Android 7.1.1, the Moto X4 is said to feature 5.2-inch Full HD display, and equipped with 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 Mobile Platform, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage and 3000mAh battery.

The dual-camera system is expected to consist of 12MP and 8MP sensors, while the front facing unit will have a 16MP sensor. Design-wise, it will sport an aluminum body, and will have IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. It will have a front mounted fingerprint scanner, which along with unlocking the phone will support gestures for on-screen navigation, a feature that was introduced with the Moto G5/G5 Plus.

For the US market, the Moto X4 will be capable of operating on Google's Fi MVNO, meaning it will be able to switch seamlessly between Sprint, T-Mobile and US cellular wide area networks as well as WiFi hotspots.
