Ulefone T1: $299 smartphone with 6GB RAM, dual-cameras


Chinese smartphone maker Ulefone has announced T1, a mid-range smartphone boasting almost flagship grade specs and design, but at an affordable price tag. It sports a premium unibody metal design, and includes a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and dual-cameras.

The Ulefone T1 features 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection and is powered by 2.6GHz MediaTek Helio P25 processor backed by ARM Mali T880 GPU. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, that's expandable via microSD card.

The camera department includes dual-cameras, that consists PDAF-assisted 16MP + 5MP sensor for depth information accompanied by two-tone Quad LED flash. For selfies there's 8MP front facing camera. 

Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS and USB Type-C. It runs Android Nougat and is fueled by 3680mAh battery, with PE+2.0 (PumpExpress) fast charging support that lets you charge the device in just 80 minutes.

Ulefone plans to sell the T1 at $299.99. It will go on pre-sale on July 31, and the final price will be known then. It will be available in Red and Black hues.
