Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) with Snapragon 425, Android Nougat announced


Huawei has introduced an upgraded version of last year's Y6 Pro called Y6 Pro (2017). It is basically a rebranded Enjoy 7 for the international market. While the Y6 Pro was equipped with a MediaTek processor, the new Y6 Pro (2017) comes with a Qualcomm chip. It also boasts metal-body, rear mounted fingerprint scanner and runs Android Nougat based EMUI 5.1.

The Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) features 5-inch HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display and is powered by quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor, with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage, which can be expanded via microSD card.

The camera department includes 13MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, it supports dual-SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS. A decent 3020mAh battery keep the light on, and Huawei promises up 15 hours of HD video play back and 12 hours of web-browsing with LTE.

The Huawei Y6 Pro (2017) is listed on company's HongKong, Germany, Portugal and France website and is said to be priced at 179 Euros ($212 | Rs . 13,000). It comes in Gold, Black and Silver color.
