Lenovo India launches K8 Plus with dual-cameras, stock Android for Rs. 10,999


Soon after launching the K8 Note, Lenovo has now launched the K8 Plus in India featuring dual-camera setup. Like the K8 Note, the K8 Plus runs near stock Android Nougat, and Lenovo has promised upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo. 

The Lenovo K8 Plus's dual-camera setup sports a 13MP f/2.0 sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor to capture depth information for bokeh effect. The dual-cameras are accompanied by dual-tone LED falsh. The camera at the front is a 8MP unit with f/2.0 aperture, 84-degree wide-angle lens and LED flash for improved low light photography.

As for the other specs the K8 Plus features 5.2-inch Full HD 2.5D curved glass display with Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P25 processor paired with Mali T880 GPU. It comes with the option of 3GB or 4GB RAM, while the on-board storage is 32GB. The storage further expandable via microSD card. It packs a massive 4000mAh battery, that promises up to two days of battery life.

It supports 4G VoLTE, and has a dedicated slot for microSD card and dual-SIMs, arranged in a single tray. It also comes with Theatermax technology, Dolby Atmos, and a dedicated hardware Music key to play/pause music or can be mapped to start camera, open app, turn on flash light and more. There's a fingerprint scanner at the back.

The Lenovo K8 Plus has been priced at Rs. 10,999 for the 3GB RAM version, and will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting September 7 in Fine Gold and Venom Black colors. The 4G RAM will go on sale close to Diwali. The company has also announced a bunch of launch offers:
